Events of the Santee Lions  for 2008

 Membership meeting  1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Lions Den located at 9535 Mission Gorge Road Suite H.

April 19th - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

April 20th - Relay For Life Cancer Walk Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes Lake 5 at Ampitheater 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
all  money raised goes to American Cancer Society

May 24th - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11)) AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

June 21st - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

July 19th - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

August 23rd - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

September 12-14 - Pancake Breakfast at Crown Point for Thunder Boat Races 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM

October 25th - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

November 22nd - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

December 20th - Pancake Breakfast Santee Lakes 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (proceeds to sensory garden)

 

The Santee Lions provide such services as:

Eye glasses for school children whose parents can not afford them

Hearing aids for those who do not have insurance and otherwise would not be able to get them.

Emergency Disaster aid to our residents.

Provide fresh picked fruit to the Santee Food Bank for the needy.

Provide excess event food to the Santee Senior Center and various other charities.

Where ever there is a need in our community we will provide aid.
